How it works
In order to honor our commitment to you of fresh food we have to be sure all produce is sold within 72 hours. In order to do this we are limited to a few cities in a few states. If your city or state isn't listed feel free to contact us and let us know who and where you are. We will try to be to your market as soon as possible.
What we do
Your Freshest Food brings you the best food at some of the best prices. We pick up the food directly from the farmer and deliver it straight to you via our fruit stands, or those that we contract with. We try to offer organic food exclusively, but sadly that isn't possible for all produce (psst there needs to be more demand).
Our costs are on par with supermarkets because we pass the savings of not possessing brick and mortar buildings, inventory, and other overhead items onto you
We specialize in bulk selling for those who prefer canning, preserving or freezing their fresh food to enjoy it throughout the year.
Your Freshest Food is a privately owned business based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We opened in 2013.
It all began when I grew up in Western Colorado, I was spoiled with Colorado Peaches and the harvest months were the highlight of the year. My parents began to send these peaches to their friends that lived elsewhere, not as a business, but just because they had to share these splendid fruits with everyone they knew.
In the year 2013 my parents were busy with life in their new home in New Mexico and it didn't look like they'd be able to go to Colorado and pick up the peaches so I volunteered to buy and deliver them in their place. I didn't think once of turning this into a business while doing their errand, but a few months later while hiking in the Rocky Mountains it occurred to me that people all over the country have produce that is sub-par and over priced. Why not bring this fresh produce to them.
Since that night I've spent many hours looking at what is available, what the seasons are, and where I can bring it. I've found so many great foods that I can't wait to bring to areas that are paying high prices for....flavored cardboard in my opinion.
We look forward to showing you how great fruit really tastes.

Does it matter if food is fresh?
Would you eat a 3 week old baked good? That is how old most of the produce is that is sold in store, and it makes just as much of a difference for produce as it does for baked goods. Produce also loses its natural consistency; it becomes stale; it often goes bad (as everyone has seen at the store), and the most important thing old food isn’t nearly as nutritious as fresh food. So yes, fresh produce matters very much.
What are your prices?
We determine our prices when the farmer gives us our price. You can view the Home Page, or the individual page of the produce to see the most up-to-date information.
What’s the difference between you and a farmers market?
Farmer’s Markets are great, I shop at them very often; however, they can only offer what the farmers can grow during that select time of the year, in their select area. We are also a Farmer’s Market, but not int he traditional sense: we buy food from small farmers that you see at Farmer’s Markets, but we buy it in each region that we ship to, so you can get sustainably grown produce even when it is out of season. That is the biggest difference.
Can I show up at any time?
We only operate our stands for a few hours in each location once every couple of weeks. If you can’t make it to our stand and would like some, contact us, and we should be able to meet you somewhere.
Do you ship to places of work?
Yes we do, just call and arrange it with us.
How do I know when you will be there?
You can either subscribe to our email list, which will be a monthly email announcing the calendar, or you can follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or Google+. We will also call you if we have you number.
Do you sell organic produce?
Yes; however, it's not always possible but we promise you that we always offer sustainably grown food and organic whenever possible. Some areas and produce doesn’t have organic available yet, but let me know if you have interest and I will continue to pressure the farmer.
How do I get some?
You can either meet us at our stand when we are in town, or we can meet you somewhere if it’s convenient. We also recommend you reserve what you want and that way we will have your name on it, and save it for you.
When will you be in town?
Please view our calendar on our Home Page.
Are you the farmer?
As much as I would love to be a farmer I haven’t had the opportunity to open my own so I try to connect people to farms instead.
Are you in any farmers markets?
Due to the restrictions of Farmer’s Markets we’re unable to sell at Farmer’s Markets but we do offer the same items with the same quality that is offered at Farmer’s Markets.
Do you sell local food?
Yes we do, but all of our produce may not come from the same spot and may not be local. We support farmers in each area that we ship to.
